How to take backup of a T-Mobile phone? by zunty
Hi guys, i need some urgent help from you all regarding a short query. One of my friend is using a T-Mobile, not sure about the Phone’s model but it is among the Motorola devices. Now there is some problem with his mobile phone and the solution we think is performing a factory restore.
Now before that we need to take its backup. So could you guys please ma me know how to take a complete backup of T-Mobile Phone ? Help appreciated.

There are a variety of different methods available to backup your T-Mobile phone. You can use the phone itself, software applications such as Motorola Phone Tools, or carrier specific applications such as T-Mobile’s Mobile Backup.
I’ll suggest you to go with T-Mobile’s Mobile Backup. Mobile Backup is a service that stores your phone’s address book on a secure T-Mobile server, which is accessible through MobileLife on my.t-mobile.com.
Mobile Backup gives T-Mobile customers peace of mind knowing their important information will not be lost if their phone is damaged, lost, or stolen, and allows them to avoid the hassle of manually re-entering all of their contact information into a new phone if they upgrade to a new phone.

Here is the step by step process of taking backup of T-Mobile’s content like your music, pictures, or videos to a memory card, or directly to a computer. Just go through this:-
1. Press the Center Select Key
2. Scroll to and Select Settings
3. Scroll to and Select Storage Device
4. Select Phone Memory or Memory Card and press the Center Select Key.
5. Scroll to My Pictures, My Videos, or My Sounds, and press the Center Select Key. If necessary, scroll to the name of a folder and press the Center Select Key.
6. To move a single file, scroll to the file and press Options, then scroll to Move and press the Center Select Key.
7. On the Move To screen, scroll to the destination for the moved file(s) and press the Center Select Key.
8. When prompted to confirm the move, select Yes and press the Center Select Key.
To move more than one file, press Options, then scroll to Move Multiple and press the Center Select Key. Scroll to each file you want to move and press the Center Select Key to mark it, then press Done.
