How do I activate?
There are a couple of ways to activate a Tracfone. The preferred method is to go online to Tracfone.com. From the menu select the "Activate, Reactivate" button on the top of the page. Then you will add the Serial number of your phone. Tracfone Serial numbers will be an 11, 15, or 18 digit number.
How much does it cost to Activate your Tracfone?
It is free to Activate a Tracfone. After letting your Tracfone service expire they do not charge you a fee to reactivate your Tracfone Phone. You will have to add a Tracfone Card to reactivate your phone but Tracfone does not charge an extra Activation or reactivation fee.
How do I find my Tracfone Serial Number?
The Serial number is accessible from the "Prepaid Menu" on your Tracfone phone. It is on the package the Tracfone came in. The Serial number is also on a Red paper in with your owners manual. The website also has clear instructions on how to find your Tracrone Serial Number. Your Serial Number will be an 11, 15, or 18 digit number.
What is DMFL?
DMFL means Double minutes for life of your Tracfone phone. For the life of the phone with DMFL any time you add a Tracfone Card you will get twice as many minutes as the card has on it.
What is the Tracfone DMFL Trick?
Some people want to continue to use a Tracfone that does not have Double Minutes. You can put DMFL minutes on your non-DMFL phone. Add the Tracfone Card to a DMFL phone. Then Transfer the minutes and service time on your DMFL phone to the phone without Double minutes.
If you do not have a DMFL phone to use, get a free DMFL phone with the purchase of a phone card on the Tracfone.com web site.
You will have to transfer all of the minutes and service time from the Double Minute phone to your non DMFL phone. If you have 400 minutes on your DMFL phone you will not be able to transfer just 200 minutes to your phone without the doubler, you will have to transfer all the Tracfone Minutes and sevice time from your DMFL phone.
